2. Services
Individual Clinical Hypnotherapy
Personalised one-to-one sessions shaped around the difficulty you would like help with. Individual sessions cost £60 per session.
The number and frequency of sessions will depend on what you wish to address, your circumstances and how you respond to the work.
Nervous System Regulation Programme
A structured 12-session programme for people whose minds and bodies remain in a state of high alert, particularly those experiencing persistent overthinking, masking, overwhelm, stress or difficulty switching off.
The total programme cost is £1,500. Payment may be made by BACS or PayPal. Instalment options may be available and must be agreed in writing before the programme begins.
Where an instalment arrangement is agreed, the payment schedule and what happens if the programme ends early will be explained before you commit to the service.
3. Enquiries and suitability
Submitting an enquiry does not create a therapist-client relationship or oblige you to book a service.
Gareth may ask for further information to consider whether hypnotherapy or the Nervous System Regulation Programme appears suitable for you.
Gareth may decline or discontinue a service where:
- It falls outside his training or professional scope
- A different form of support appears more appropriate
- Online work cannot be provided safely or lawfully in your location
- Continuing would be contrary to professional, ethical or insurance requirements
Where appropriate, Gareth may suggest that you contact your GP, another healthcare professional or a specialist service.
4. Nature of hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process. You remain aware and in control and may choose whether to respond to any suggestion.
No particular outcome can be guaranteed. Results vary between individuals and depend on several factors, including the matter being addressed, participation in the process and individual circumstances.
Information on this website is general information and does not replace personalised medical, psychiatric, psychological or other professional advice.
Do not stop or change prescribed medication or medical treatment without consulting the appropriately qualified healthcare professional responsible for your care.
5. Emergencies
Gareth Thomas Hypnotherapy is not an emergency or crisis service and website enquiries are not continuously monitored.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, call 999 or go to the nearest A&E department. For urgent mental-health support, contact an appropriate NHS or emergency service in your current location.
6. Booking and formation of the contract
A booking is only confirmed once:
- Gareth has agreed to provide the service
- The appointment or programme arrangements have been confirmed
- You have received the applicable price and payment information
- Any required payment has been received or an instalment arrangement has been agreed
The booking confirmation and any service-specific information supplied to you form part of the agreement between you and Gareth.
7. Fees and payment
Individual clinical hypnotherapy costs £60 per session.
The 12-session Nervous System Regulation Programme costs £1,500.
Payments may be made using the methods agreed with Gareth. Programme payments are available by BACS or PayPal, with instalment options where agreed in advance.
You are responsible for ensuring that payments are made by the agreed due dates. Gareth may pause further sessions while an overdue payment remains outstanding.
8. Appointment changes and cancellations
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, contact Gareth as soon as reasonably possible.
Any notice period, late-cancellation charge or missed-appointment arrangement that applies will be clearly provided and agreed before your first booking. Those booking arrangements will form part of the contract.
The arrangements for cancelling the Nervous System Regulation Programme, including the treatment of any instalments or advance payments, will be provided in writing before you commit to the programme.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
9. Statutory cancellation rights
Where a service is booked online, by email or by telephone, you will normally have a legal right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason.
If you ask for a session or programme to begin during that 14-day period, you may be asked to expressly request that the service starts early. If you then cancel after the service has started, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided.
If the service is completed during the cancellation period following your express request and acknowledgement, your statutory right to cancel may end once it has been fully performed.
You may exercise your cancellation right by emailing gareththomashypno@btinternet.com and clearly stating that you wish to cancel.
10. Online sessions
For online sessions, you are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information about your location
- Having a suitable device and reliable internet connection
- Joining from a safe, quiet and reasonably private location
- Ensuring that you will not be driving or operating machinery
- Providing an emergency contact where reasonably requested
Gareth cannot guarantee the availability or performance of third-party internet or video-call services.
If a session is materially interrupted by a technical problem, Gareth will discuss a reasonable way to continue or rearrange it.
11. Confidentiality and personal information
Information shared during an enquiry or session will be treated respectfully and confidentially, subject to legal, professional and safeguarding limits.
Information may be disclosed where:
- You have consented to the disclosure
- Disclosure is required by law
- It is reasonably necessary to protect you or another person from a serious and immediate risk of harm
- It is needed to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim
Personal information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
12. Your responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- Tell Gareth about relevant changes that may affect the work
- Attend sessions in a condition that allows you to participate safely
- Treat Gareth and others respectfully
- Pay agreed fees when due
Gareth may end or postpone a session where it would be unsafe, inappropriate or impractical to continue.
13. Website information
Reasonable care is taken to keep the website accurate and available. However, website content is general information and may be updated without notice.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical issues or circumstances outside Gareth’s reasonable control.
14. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s written content, branding and original materials belong to Gareth Thomas or are used with permission.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, including Amazon, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Gareth is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices or operation of third-party websites.
Purchases of Invisible Ropes through Amazon are made directly from Amazon or the applicable seller and are governed by that provider’s purchasing, delivery and returns terms.
16. Reasonable care and liability
Services will be provided with reasonable care and skill in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.
Gareth is not responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been foreseen when the contract was made, or for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by you.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.
17. Ending services
You may decide to stop individual hypnotherapy at any time, subject to any previously agreed cancellation and payment arrangements.
Gareth may end or pause services where continuing would be unsafe, inappropriate, outside his professional scope or contrary to professional requirements. Where reasonably possible, this will be discussed with you.
Separate payment and cancellation arrangements will apply to the structured Nervous System Regulation Programme and will be explained before it begins.
18. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, please contact Gareth so that the concern can be considered and, where possible, resolved.
- Email: gareththomashypno@btinternet.com
- Telephone: 07765 248704
Information about any relevant professional complaints procedure can be provided on request.
19. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to services, prices, business practices or legal requirements.
The terms that apply to a booking will be those provided or available when the booking is confirmed, together with any separate arrangements agreed in writing.
20. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you may also have rights under mandatory laws applicable in your place of residence.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any consumer right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
